Mike Blackgrove has been a part of Dr. Gregory Zaccone’s team at Spectrum for over 10 years.  In 2010 Mike became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Mike then went on to receive his masters in Sports Administration from FDU in 2011.  As a current Dominican College Assistant Basketball Coach, Mike was part of leading the team to its first-ever NCAA Tournament game in 2013.

Mike considers his time and experience with Dr. Zaccone, and the highly credentialed staff at Spectrum, as the most valuable part of his education.  The influence of their expertise, combined with his athletic experience and his passion for coaching, make Mike Blackgrove an exceptional Personal Trainer.

Mike was born and raised in River Vale, NJ.  He graduated from Pascack Valley High School and was a two-sport All-County athlete in basketball and football.  At FDU he participated in Division 1 Basketball from 2005-2009.  He then went on to be Director of Basketball Operations at FDU.

Mike Blackgrove received both his Bachelors of Arts and his Masters of Sports Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
