While attending Seton Hall University, Asante worked as a research assistant, studying the harmful effects of concussions on college athletes. His primary role was to analyze data related to heart rate and blood pressure readings. His research team would go on to yield data that is currently published in the Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise journal, and the Frontiers in Neurology journal.
As a part of his Physical Therapy clinical rotations, Asante gained experience while working at several outpatient facilities, in addition to working in the subacute rehabilitation center. After receiving his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University, Asante went on to begin his career working as a member of Spectrum Physical Therapy. His mission is to guide others towards achieving their goals and surpassing their expectations, while also working to surpass his own. Asante believes that movement is the key to improving both physical and mental well-being.
